On Tuesday, 7/25/2023, the College of Engineering at the University of Kerbala signed a memorandum of understanding with the Warith Al-Anbiyaa University, in a ceremony that took place at the Deanship of Engineering at the University of Kerbala – Freiha site, and in the presence of the President of the University, Prof. Dr Bassem Nile Al-Saidi and the assistant Administrative Prof. Dr. Akram Al-Yasiri.
The University of Kerbala was represented by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Laith Shaker Rasheed Al-Qarawi. At the same time, it was signed by the University of the Warith Al-Anbiyaa, Professor Waqid Hamid Hassan Al-Musawi, and in the presence of heads of departments of the College of Engineering.
The Memorandum of Understanding includes providing cooperation in developing plans that contribute to the educational service and society. In addition to publishing scientific articles in journals within Scopus and Clarivate. Furthermore, to develop the laboratories to local and global standards.
Al-Qarawi confirmed that this initiative is within the framework of scientific cooperation between Iraqi universities and international universities.
